A Dallas and Japanese partnership will soon begin construction on a 20-story luxury apartment tower near NorthPark Mall.
Dallas-based StreetLights Residential has partnered with Mitsui Fudosan America to develop the high-rise at the southeast corner of Park Lane and US 75.
Construction will begin this month and is expected to finish in early 2029. The tower will include 365 apartments. The studio, one-, two- and three- bedroom units range from 505 to 1,707 square feet.
The project will include structured parking, ground-level retail and hospitality-inspired amenities. Select units will have wine refrigerators and frameless rainfall showers with flower-to-ceiling tile and built-in benches.
The 20th floor features penthouse residences distinguished by taller ceilings. The firm declined to say how much it would invest in the project.
This is StreetLights Residential and Mitsui Fudosan America's second join venture. The group developed The Oliver, a 351-unit, 18-story high-rise located in the Cityplace neighborhood near Uptown Dallas.
Mitsui Fudosan America, Inc. is the U.S. Subsidiary of Japan's largest real estate company, Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.
"This project represents a bold step forward in redefining luxury living in the Park Lane corridor," Greg Coutant, senior vice president of development at StreetLights Residential, said in a statement. "With thoughtfully designed residences, highly curated amenities, and a focus on walkability and lifestyle, the development will create a vibrant, connected community that sets a new standard for urban living in Dallas."
Plans for the tower were first reported in 2023. The tower joins a growing North Dallas mixed-use development.
The Park Lane development on North Central Expressway includes shopping, apartments and multiple office buildings. The 35-acre complex, which opened in 2009, is just across the highway from NorthPark Center mall.
